Marketing Assistant Job Opening in Salt Lake City, Utah - We?re in the market for marketing! And we?ve coupled that position with receptionist responsibilities?so we?re also searching for sunshine in demeanor. To pull off both functions, we (likely) need someone creative, quick-thinking, people-based and detail-driven. Here?s a sampling of responsibilities from each side:
Marketing
Creating quarterly, themed gift baskets for our sales team to hand-deliver to clients
Organizing and implementing events for 200+ people (3-4/year)
Organizing and implementing internal and external parties (3-5/year)
Preparing for tradeshows
Planning, organizing and implementing events for individual sales people
Organizing our company?s charitable events (1-2/year)
Assembling client budgets, intro packs and one-sheets
Assembling RFP responses
Receptionist
Supporting operational functions
Answering phones
Assisting and directing visitors and walk-in clients
Scheduling appointments and travel arrangements
Updating and maintaining files, documents and records
Sorting, screening and distributing incoming and outgoing mail
More often than not, this position (in all its forms) acts as a launchpad or training grounds for growth within the company; we?ve seen our receptionists aim for, earn and land positions in our accounting, interior design, project management, marketing and sales management departments (for starters).
