Southern California Sales Rep - Raw Cannabis Company Job Opening in Los Angeles, California - Awakened Topicals is California?s original craft cannabis company specializing in raw cannabis topicals and tinctures. We have won multiple prestigious awards, have excellent reviews and a strong customer base. We are looking for a professional, enthusiastic salesperson to sell to dispensaries and to health care professionals in Southern California. Ideally, you are based in the LA area, San Diego or Orange County.
If you have experience in field sales, care about the science behind the plant, and want to impact patient lives with highly differentiated products, this job is for you.
We are compliant with all current laws and take regulation seriously. We are professionals and expect the same from you. You will be reporting to the COO and Head of Sales, who will train you and provide all the sales support you need to be successful.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Generate sales with cannabis retailers including dispensaries, mobile dispensaries, or health care providers.
Communicate effectively to customers about the product line, promotions, science, marketing messages and company changes.
Schedule and conduct product demos at dispensaries or conferences.
Use a web-based or mobile CRM to accurately record details of your sales visits and orders.
Be dedicated to providing excellent customer service and to develop a professional working relationship with dispensary management and associates to effectively meet company objectives.
Deliver sales orders within your territory.
Attend internal meetings and trainings.
Attend conferences or events on an ad-hoc basis.
Ability to work at least 20 hours a week.
The candidate must be able to demonstrate the following:
Successful Sales Experience: Prior Pharma/Biotech or Healthcare sales experience is a plus
University degree required.
Computer Skills: Proficient use of (and must own) a personal computer, smartphone, printer and be familiar with Gmail/Google Docs/Apps.
Strong organizational skills.
You must have (or be willing to get):
A valid and current doctor's recommendation to be a current MMJ patient (California law requires you to be a patient to be able to possess and transport marijuana).
A valid and current California driver?s license.
Reliable transportation.
A good driving record.
Computer, internet connection and a smart phone.
