Bookkeeper/Office Manager Job Opening in Hanover, New hampshire - Fast-growing real estate investment firm is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper / Office Manager to perform accounting / bookkeeping activities as well as general office management. This position requires strong organizational skills, high attention to detail and accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple simultaneous tasks. Strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are also required.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Enter and pay all accounts payable
Create tenant invoices and enter tenant payments
Tenant collection calls as needed
Bank reconciliation
Create monthly financial reports for management team?s review
Coordinate with outside accounting providers for quarterly and year-end closing of financials, tax preparation, and as-needed to resolve questions/issues.
Maintain property and tenant files
General office organization and planning
Misc. administrative duties as needed
Maintain professional conduct at all times
Job Requirements
CPA background, degree in accounting or experience at a public accounting firm preferred, but not required
Strong knowledge of accounting concepts, practices, processes and procedures
Experience managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
Experience working with accounting software, and fluency in MS Excel and MS Word
Must possess the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and recognize and address issues as they occur
The ability to build and improve processes and systems
Critical thinker and ability to problem solve
Ability to learn new software and property management systems
Strong verbal and written communication skills
