We are certified by the National Balancing Bureau (NEBB) to conduct and manage ?Certified? testing of cleanrooms and cleanroom systems and maintain active membership in the Institute of Environmental Science & Technology (IEST). Additionally, we have assisted engineers from many of the industry?s most respected companies in the development of contamination control programs, specifications and solutions specifically tailored to their unique facility needs. Currently we represent several advanced cleanroom equipment manufacture and offer several OEM products to our customers.
About the Position
The Outside Technical Sales Associate main objective is to call upon customers and prospects within their defined territory to bring in new accounts and to service existing accounts and capture new sales opportunities. The Outside Technical Sales Associate will visit these accounts to create value by helping customers solve their problems, and to establish and maintain relationships with clients.
The Ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, people and organizational skills and a willingness to travel throughout New England and New York representing a leading worldwide technical instrumentation line of products. Be able to document minimum 5 years of successful technical equipment sales experience through references. Candidate must be able to operate in a fast paced computerized environment using a variety of standard and custom software packages. On-going training and product line competency maintenance is a must.
Duties and Responsibilities
Researches, develops and compiles lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads
Follows up with prospective and current customers by personal visits and telephone contacts
Overcomes technical and business objections of prospective customers
Provides and discusses product features and benefits, to include product demos, with prospective customers and current customers
Responsible for establishing quotes, pricing and credit terms.
Coordinates and provide prospective customer and current customer education and training
Maintain accurate data tracking and account activity information for reporting to management
Build competitor knowledge to identify and develop One Source's unique selling propositions and differentiators
Prepares reports of business transactions as directed
Investigates and resolves customer problems with deliveries
Travels to and attends trade shows
Builds and maintains customer relationships
Creates revenue and profit for the company
Works in a team environment with the company departments in a day-to-day management of customers
Required Skills
Effective communication skills in both verbal and written (training / presentations /report writing)
Ability to interact at all levels of company and with people of various backgrounds and experience
Sales-driven, self-motivated, energetic, persuasive, organized, independent, with an entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to develop effective sales strategies
Must possess top negotiating skills and be able to build relationships
Must possess the ability to learn our service offerings, products, and systems we offer

Type of Work Environment
Our main office is located just north of Burlington Vermont. You will be required to visit the home office from time to time, however this position is an outside sales position and requires travel for 90% of your time. You will need to provide your own transportation.
Must be able to perform above listed in the field and/or client site or field offices.
May be exposed to dusty and noisy conditions periodically
May be required to wear protective clothing at customer sites such as cleanroom garments and/or safety equipment
Frequent travel is required, often up to several hours of driving per day
Exposure to variable weather conditions is likely while driving
Salary and Benefits
Salary will be commensurate with experience. One Source Environmental LLC offers a competitive benefits package including, Simple IRA match program, company paid holidays, vacation time, sick time.
**Opportunity to increase income based on sales volume is offered as compensation for services.
