Schedule: Monday through Friday
Hours of Operation: 8:30am to 5pm

As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for general ledger accounting and preparing financial statements for roughly 40 different locations across multiple states. Additionally, you will be tasked with entry and review of Accounts Receivable, month-end closing entries, including preparation of journal entries, bank reconciliations, ad-hoc reporting, and other various general accounting functions. Other duties will include:
Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements
Help with the evaluation of internal controls
Prepare necessary journal entries and accruals
Complete account & bank reconciliations for assets, liabilities and expenses (both internal and external)
Assist with analyzing financial statements on a monthly basis and report on variances
Assist with financial and tax audits
Assist with corporate reporting requirements
Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls
Budgeting
Other accounting duties and projects may be assigned
Position Requirements
At least 3 years of related full-cycle accounting experience.
Previous experience in multi-state or multi-location accounting preferred.
Great Plains experience preferred
Excellent written, proofreading, and verbal communication skills
Bachelors in Accounting preferred.
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Pre-employment drug test
7 year criminal background check
