Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist Job Opening in San Tan Valley, Arizona - Inbalance Pediatric Therapy - San Tan Valley, AZ. We are a private, non-corporate clinic providing pediatric assessment and therapy services to children. We are a therapist-owned, family-oriented practice with a supportive, dedicated, and friendly staff. We are conveniently located in the Phoenix area near the Gateway Airport in Mesa. We are looking for an exceptional SLP to join our multi-disciplinary clinic. Qualified candidates should be Arizona licensed. Pediatric experience and continuing education in pediatrics is preferred; however, exceptional new graduates will be considered. Job duties include evaluation and treatment of children 1-17 yrs old with a variety of pediatric disabilities. Strong desire to work with other disciplines such as OT's and PT's a MUST! Program development and on-going professional growth encouraged and supported.
Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) Position Summary:
The SLP assumes responsibility and accountability for a designated group of pediatric patients and provides speech language therapy evaluations and treatment in accordance with the standards and code of ethics set in place by the State of Arizona and American Speech and Hearing Association.
Speech and Language Pathologists are responsible for accurately assessing clients? needs, identifying and initiating appropriate interventions, providing the family with education, and working cooperatively with other members of the Inbalance team.
