Site Coordinator/ Insurance Biller Job Opening in Everett, Washington - GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Site Biller supports operations of the Silver Lake location. Duties will include receptionist (answering phones and assorted clerical tasks) and billing of insurance. Reports to the Billing Manager. This is a non-exempt position and is a part of CHS?s Administration Team. candidates are encouraged to apply.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES ? Specific for this position
SITE COORDINATOR
Provides oversight of Silver Lake location
Staffs reception desk and phones five days per week
Reports building problems to Executive Assistant and follows up as needed
Orders and distributes supplies and materials for Silver Lake location
Provides oversight of shared room/space calendar
Serves as Safety Officer for Silver Lake location which includes monitoring smoke detectors, sprinklers system, fire extinguishers, safety drills, etc.
Collaborates with other CHS staff and community as appropriate
INSURANCE BILLER
Processes insurance claims and payments for CHS clinical programs
Submits claims to insurance carriers
Posts payments and EOBs
Makes corrections to services as needed (e.g. CPT code and correcting payer for service)
Follows up on denied/ rejected claims
Prepares client statements
Responds to staff and client inquiries regarding third party billings and coverage
Verifies insurance coverage for clients
Updates client insurance information in Credible (EHR)
Keeps current on all third party billing requirements and changes
Incorporates changes in billing requirements
Helps manage Credentialing of clinicians through OneHealthPort
Participates in the development and implementation of insurance billing procedures and policies for CHS

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office applications)
Experience with EHR (Electronic Healthcare Records) and electronic filing is desired
Experience billing insurance (commercial and Medicaid)
Knowledge of medical coding and guidelines and regulations
Ability to read and interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOBs)
Knowledge of billing collection practices
Working knowledge desired for OfficeAlly, OneHealthPort, and ProviderOne
Experience with and knowledge of HIPPA regulations
Ability to work late afternoons and early evenings

Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team

LOCATION
This position is located at the Silver Lake site (10315 19th Ave SE Suite 112 Everett, WA 98208-4259)
SALARY
$16 - 16.50/hour, 35 - 40 hours/week, plus excellent employee benefits
