Senior Financial Analyst Job Opening in Park City, Utah - The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for maintaining the fund level models, reporting, forecasting and analytics for a portfolio of properties. This position will report to the VP of Asset Management and will provide broad-based financial analysis support to the organization including financial underwriting and analysis of prospective real estate investments including acquisitions, dispositions and property development projects. This position can be located in either one of or Cincinnati, OH or Park City, UT offices.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Analysis
Assist in calculation of property and fund level return metrics
Maintain monthly venture and fund level models / reporting for Senior Leadership and Board of Directors
Ensure integrity of historical and projected data used in financial forecasting models
Serve as a resource for financial analyses to multiple internal groups, including asset management, investor relations, and capital markets
Work with leasing and asset managers to provide full cost benefit analysis for potential tenant deals
Support Acquisitions, Development and Portfolio Management with ad hoc financial analysis as requested
Assist the Finance team on forecasting and budgeting for a portfolio of properties
Underwriting
Prepare underwriting models and assumptions for analysis of acquisitions and developments both prior to contract and during due diligence
Debt Sourcing
Assist in preparation of bank financing packages and provide primary assistance in obtaining financing for the organization
Work with the VP of Accounting & Finance to assist Fund Manager in providing financial metrics for capital raising activities.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Real Estate preferred
Minimum 3 years of forecasting, budgeting or underwriting experience required, commercial real estate analysis experience strongly preferred
Advanced MS Excel skills and strong analytic ability required. Argus and/or other portfolio analysis software experience preferred
MRI software or similar accounting database experience strongly preferred
Attention to detail, accuracy, process-oriented and organized
Strong verbal and written communication skills required
Ability to multi-task various projects to hard deadlines, including prioritizing and time-managing recurring duties and ad hoc tasks as they arise
