Sales Manager Job Opening in Seattle, Washington - Mora LLC is a Northwest ice cream manufacturing company offering an artisanal ice cream that is truly different from most premium ice creams and which has captured national praise and attention. We take great care in producing over 75 flavors of sophisticated ice cream using only the freshest ingredients with a process that creates intense and unique flavors.
In 2015 we?ve launched our franchising program along with a co-packing and private label program. Our state of the art manufacturing facility allows us to attract and serve the most demanding clients in the market. Our plant is SQF Level 2 certified and holds multiple additional certifications and accreditations.
Mora LLC is looking for a Sales Manager with experience in sales and new business development that would be responsible for maintaining and developing new co-packing and private labels accounts.
The Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of sales and strategy execution. This position will report directly to the CEO and will be responsible for all aspects of customer contact, developing business relationships, product introduction and pricing preparations, bid preparation and negotiations, assisting customers with logistics and distribution matters and overall maintenance and care of existing and new accounts.
Compensation: based salary plus sales commission plan.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The role requires a self-directed, results-oriented sales professional with technical aptitude, strong sales skills and experience and ability to qualify customer needs, develop new sales opportunities, and optimize existing accounts to maximize profit and new product sales.
Main Responsibilities:
New Business Development ? Develop Co-Packing Opportunities for Mora LLC working independently or jointly with the production team to develop end-user customers through product testing, product application, and consultation. Requires proven skills in prospecting, qualifying, demonstrating and influencing diverse decision makers to accurately target and develop new business opportunities.
Account Management & Development ? Manage, develop, and grow sales by supporting existing accounts through joint calls, sales training, training, technical support, problem resolution, and product recommendations.
Data Analysis and Sales reports: Prepare and analyze relevant reports for tracking sales and new developments such us: weekly activities, competitive activity, account changes, promotions and follow up with administrative functions related to invoicing and pricing.
Strategy Development & Process Improvement: Develop and recommend strategies aimed to maximize sales and improve the overall effectiveness of business activities.
Acts as liaison between the company and the customer to leverage resources, promote best practices and align business objectives.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor?s Degree or higher required
A minimum of 3 years of successful sales experience.
Proven ability to generate leads and close sales.
Major account experience; proven client engagement skills including relationship building, negotiating and closing.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to build strong relationships with clients based on candor, trust and results-orientation to promote customer satisfaction and confidence.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize and multi-task while meeting tight deadlines with fast-paced, changing priorities; excellent organization skills.
Demonstrated ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions;
Self-starter with the independence, initiative, and drive to succeed with a flexible, can do approach to strategic planning and problem solving.
Negotiation skills; familiar with all aspects of sales processes.
Proficient computer skills, including basic MS Office skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to prepare clear, concise and accurate documentation and reports; read, interpret, explain and apply information on business processes.
Ability to travel to trade shows.
Candidate can work remotely, needing to come to the office in Poulsbo once a week, or as needed.
