LOGIC Capital Markets is seeking an individual to work as a loan analyst/underwriter to the Director of the division. In this role, the ideal candidate will help maintain and support the senior producer?s book of business by underwriting, packaging, and processing loans. This person must hold considerable experience related to the fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures associated with commercial real estate finance including investment analysis, market analysis, collateral & borrower credit, and property valuation. The position requires a very high level of knowledge regarding real estate finance, loan product options, and loan processing procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with analysis, underwriting, and processing of commercial and multifamily real estate transactions through closing on both a debt and equity basis as a financial intermediary between lenders and borrowers
Superior ability to prepare, analyze, project, and review pro forma models and fully integrated cash flow models and to review and analyze historical operating financial statements, rent rolls, and tax returns for determination of credit quality of collateral and borrower/guarantor
Understand and review borrower organizational structure and documents; review of borrower?s real estate schedule, liquidity and creditworthiness
Conduct market analysis (comparable sales, rents, occupancy, absorption, demographics, site photos, maps, aerials, etc.) and due diligence and gather information from borrower and market reports as necessary to evaluate and process loans
Review and analyze zoning and building code analysis provided by third party consultants; research property taxes
Aid in the preparation of written loan request submissions to lenders for pricing based on collateral & borrower financial strengths and weaknesses, risk assessments, and proposed deal structures
Assist in review of all third party reports (appraisal, environmental, engineering, other) and loan documentation to ensure documents adhere to business terms and satisfy specific requirements of borrower and lender
Provide support with interaction between lenders and borrowers throughout the financing process to facilitate transaction closings
Maintain a thorough understanding of various lending products, policies, and procedures of banks, conduits, life companies, and private lenders
Skills, Education and Experience:
Bachelor?s degree in Real Estate, Finance, or Accounting with top academic and professional credentials
Minimum of 2 years of commercial real estate lending, underwriting and processing experience
Minimum of 3 years of commercial real estate experience in bank/private equity/investments
Experience with multiple commercial real estate asset classes including construction
Strong credit analysis, problem solver, quantitative, organizational and computer skills; detail oriented; punctual; ability to multi-task; ability to maintain confidential information
Knowledge of loan servicing a plus
Proficiency in ARGUS and Excel with excellence in financial modeling for real estate transactions
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CoStar, Reis, Salesforce and other real estate applications
Excellent oral and written communications skills; proactive; self-starter capable of working in an entrepreneurial environment with limited supervision and have a strong interest in real estate finance
High level of trustworthiness, integrity and customer service skills
Compensation
$50,000 per year base compensation plus bonus based on team production
