A Robert Half client is seeking an EXPERT Django Developer. This will be a fulltime position on a smaller team located in Center City, Philadelphia. The pay rate is open and will be based on experience. Please see below for details:
Must haves:
? Demonstrated experience developing Django applications for scale
? Solid understanding of the Django framework from requests through to the ORM
? Solid understanding of the Django Rest Framework including custom schemas and API design
? Strong Python and Python data processing skills (Pandas, Numpy, etc.)
? Experience with distributed and asynchronous systems
? Experience in the AWS ecosystem (Elastic Beanstalk, EC2, CloudFront, etc.)
? Solid understanding and experience with PostgreSQL (9.5 - 9.6)
? Understanding of caching and Apache and mod_wsgi setup and performance tuning
? Creation of custom Django Admin templates for complex back-office use cases
? Unit and integration testing
? Experience with *Nix
(Extremely) Nice to haves:
? Experience with token-based solutions such as OAuth2
? Understanding of networking and routing
? Load and penetration testing on Django API-based solutions
? Container services such as Docker
? Experience working within a fully automated SDLC
