Accounting Manager Job Opening in Sebastian, Florida - We currently are currently seeking a qualified Accounting Manager with Human Resource Experience to join our growing company as our company accountant. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, goal orientated, self motivated, maintains high levels of ethics, morals, and integrity and who can remain focused while thinking ?outside the box". This position / career path will allow for growth for the right candidate to be able to become Controller.
Our company manufactures and distributes innovative environmental product solutions to the industrial, commercial and constructions industries. The position has become available due to company growth and promotion.

Previous accounting and human resource education and experience a must.
The Accounting Manager is responsible for organizing and coordinating the financial, accounting, and human resource business operations in order to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of those operations and adherence to company policy.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Review of financial statements and all transactions therein, sales and activity reports, and other performance data
Direct and coordinate organization's financial and budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments, and increase
Accounts Payable?Oversee Accounts Payable to ensure best use of cash conservation policies, and ensure all data is recorded accurately and timely.
Accounts Receivable?Oversee Accounts Receivable and ensure monies due are collected diligently, and ensure all data recorded accurately and timely.
Payroll ? Oversee Payroll to ensure compliance to laws and company policy, accurate and timely posting, computing commissions, and PTO use and accruals.
Oversight and management of Human Resources and implementation of applicable Employment Law.
Coordination and oversight of all merchant services, banking, and other financially connected systems.
Provide insight into cash flows working with other departments to gain expected inflows and outflows.
Manage the company?s cash position to ensure all accounts are sufficiently funded.
Monthly review/prep of bank, credit card, and account reconciliations.
Work with banks on incoming bank transfers and any other banking concerns that arise.
Coordinate month and year end closings, including sales tax reporting and filing.
Insurance - Working with vendors for services provided
Ad hoc reporting to support departments with decision making.
Other tasks and duties as they periodically arise
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Accounting from accredited university
Full knowledge of GAAP
Advanced skills in Excel, including data reporting, pivot tables, lookups, queries and ODBC
* Human Resources experience
Work history showing progressive advancement of skills.
