Now Hiring Direct Care Job Opening in houston, Texas - Now Hiring Direct Care American Community Living, LLC, a Texas certified HCS program provider, is searching for employees to help us achieve our vision of integrating individuals with intellectual disabilities into their community. Job Description: Full time positions providing direct care needs of residents with developmental disabilities. These include bathing, dressing, grooming and feeding. Provide active treatment in areas of skill acquisition programming and leisure activities. Aides observe patients' physical, mental, and emotional conditions and report any change to the nursing or medical staff. Job Responsibilities: � Assist with daily living skills � Integrate individuals into the community by implementing recreational activities within their home and community � Transportation to and from community activities and appointments � Performs administrative duties, including accurate messages, filing, etc. � Supervises, assists, and trains consumers in self-care and independent living skills, including bathing and all areas of personal hygiene. � Participate in the development and implement the ISP. � Assists consumers in food shopping, preparation, serving, cleaning and care of home, laundry, personal hygiene, menu planning and implementation, etc. � Documents consumer progress and other necessary documentation. � Performs related work as required Requirements: � High school diploma or equivalent � Valid Driver's License � Reliable Vehicle � Able to pass a background check houston tx texas
