Family Service Advisor/Sales Job Opening in Midland, Michigan - MUST HAVE 2+ YEARS SALES EXPERIENCE
The Diocese of Saginaw has an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced salesperson who also wants to make a difference in the lives of others.
As a Family Service Advisor, you will be responsible for driving sales and developing long-lasting relationships with our families by helping with burial needs as well as with short and long-term end-of-life planning. Advisors who meet or exceed sales targets are paid generous commissions on top of a competitive hourly wage. Candidates with insurance sales, financial planning and estate planning experience along with a genuine desire to help people will have great success in this position. There is NO COLD CALLING required and ample leads will be given to all new advisors.
Key Daily Responsibilities:
Sales of property, goods and services
Maintain, monitor and achieve required business metrics
Manage and develop client list
Guide our at-need families through the decision-making process to ensure a smooth and compassionate discussion about putting to rest our recently departed
Generate leads and assist in business development
Essential Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of 2 years sales experience
Must have a strong track record of successful sales and sales achievements
Must have excellent listening and communication skills
Must be a self-starter and a team player with good Christian values and an understanding of the Catholic faith and order of Christian funerals
Must be comfortable around death and dying; able to remain professional and empathetic at all times
Catholic candidates preferred but not required
