Front End Developer Job Opening in Chicago, Illinois - We are looking for a passionate Front-End Engineer, who is ready to work on the cutting edge of FinTech software solutions. You will possess solid programming skills, have a sound understanding of engineering best practices and have the drive to deliver the very best. Additionally, you must have excellent communication skills, as you will be interfacing both with various departments internally and developers externally.
As a core member of this team, you will work closely with the business to build cutting-edge solutions following the lean/agile development process. Qualifications
3+ years of experience writing client-side JavaScript.
Expertise in building complex layouts with CSS and HTML.
Experience with Amazon Web Services.
Experience with Angular 1 or 2.
Experience working with an agile product team.
Experience building and debugging complex systems in a cloud environment.
Familiar with one of the following: Gulp, Grunt, NPM, or WebPack.
Strong UX and design sensibilities, and a desire to sweat the small stuff.
Strong experience implementing responsive webs.
Familiarity with building mobile hybrid apps is a plus.
Strong experiencing testing web code using Mocha, Jasmine, QUnit, etc.
Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and empathy.
Self-awareness and a desire to continually improve.
BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field.
