About the Job:
Build scalable big data platforms and innovative web and mobile applications that delight our customers
Deliver working software as part of small, cross-functional agile teams
Create elegant designs, adhering to dev quality practices and continuously improving development craftsmanship
Required skills and experience:
BS in Computer Science, MS preferred
7+ years of professional software development experience
Experience developing on small agile teams
Track record in delivering scalable enterprise-level SaaS systems
Comfortable across both Unix and Microsoft ecosystems
Significant and recent experience with C#, in addition to other strongly typed OO languages like: Java, C++, Go
Experience with building performant, responsive, and secure web applications
Experience with both SQL-based RDBMS as well as NoSQL stores
Dedication to continuous improvement of processes with pragmatic use of agile
Unwavering commitment to doing this right: continuous integration, continuous delivery, test automation, code reviews, clean code, decoupled architecture, judicious use of design patterns and refactoring
Desired skills and experience:
Deployment and operation on public clouds: Azure, Amazon W
Front end web development skills and design sensibility are a nice to have
Experience with other web stacks like LAMP, RoR or MEAN would be a plus
