Responsibilities:
Compute, classify, and record data relating to financial records or transactions.? Perform any combination of routine calculating, posting, and verifying duties of financial data and records.
This could include computing taxes and valuations, tracking price fluctuations, and verifying records of transactions and holdings.
May also check the accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings pertaining to business transactions recorded by other workers.
Qualifications :
This position provides accounting support for Merchandise Payable activity and will perform pre-close, close and post-close activities to ensure accuracy of merchandise payable liabilities and variance reporting.
During the month, the Staff Analyst will perform PO research to identify the population which can be financially closed because all expected cost components have been booked.
At month end, they will be responsible for specific balance sheet accounts and their related activity.
They will be expected to process journal entries, perform sub-ledger reconciliations and validate all to the general ledger.
