Rimon P.C. is a rapidly expanding, modern law firm. We are hiring an IT Manager for our small IT department. The IT Manager works closely with the IT Support Assistant and reports directly to the COO. For the immediate future, the individual will primarily work from home, with some sporadic travel. However you must be in the Boise area to be considered. The position has primary responsibility for systems and application evaluation, rollout, and support. Because we are a small team, the position will also be required to support routine operations and problem resolution of computing and/or communications functions at the firm.
Constant re-evaluation of firm?s IT needs including hardware, applications, networking, etc. to ensure smooth functioning of firm.
Recommend, plan, and implement application and systems transitions, as needed.
Advanced troubleshooting of technical support issues, both hardware and software
Provide IT support to remote workforce, with occasional in-person support. Communicate effectively with users to understand, identify, document and resolve problems.
Perform simple repairs and upgrades to computing and related equipment.
Assists in the customization and adaptation of existing programs to meet users? requirements.
Coordinate activities with the IT Assistant.
Document troubleshooting steps for knowledge base articles.
Assist in research and procurement of computer accessories and supplies.
Work closely with outside IT and software engineering personnel handling custom application development, website improvements, network upgrades, etc.
Qualifications:
Deep expertise with Windows and OSX operating system and common applications. Sound understanding of Linux/Unix structure.
Experience with remote desktop services and troubleshooting.
Strong expertise administering cloud-based systems.
Proficient with iOS and Android operating systems.
Networking expertise in a hybrid cloud/local environment.
Ability to work independently with careful attention to detail.
Ability to manage projects across a virtual environment (application rollouts, system changes, upgrades, etc.)
Able to balance priorities and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment and be a team player who is highly motivated.
Other Qualifications:
Bachelor?s Degree in related field (or significant job experience)
At least 3 years of experience
