Sales Engineer (Plastics) Job Opening in Evansville, Indiana - My client is seeking a Sales Engineer, Plastics Injection Molding. Responsible for managing the injection molding sales efforts for a company in the Midwest. Duties and Responsibilities : * Determine Needs of customer and find solution to fit their needs * Execute the solution with company staff * Conduct sales calls and customer visits in a Professional Manner * Create New Customers * Grow Market Share * Keep Current on Market Conditions * Travel to visit customers as needed Minimum Requirements: * Previous B2B field sales role, preferably within a technical sales industry. * Technical Background (e.g. Service, Automation, Tooling, Processing,) in Plastics Injection Molding Manufacturing is preferred * Can demonstrate a track record of interacting with customers in a sales or service environment. * Thorough Understanding of the Injection Molding Cycle * Ability to determine equipment size, functionality, etc. Education and Experience * Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing is preferred. * 5+ years Manufacturing, Engineering, Service, or Customer Management Experience. * Plastics Injection Molding experience Preferred. Physical Demands: * Employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit use hands, reach, talk, hear, taste or smell. * Climb or balance, stoop, kneel, reach, stretch, crouch. * Vision requires close focus, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception and focus adjustment Work Environment : Office / Warehouse environment. Employee may be occasionally exposed to moving equipment, mechanical parts in motion, risk of shock and other hazards associated with a manufacturing environment such as overhead cranes, welding, machining, painting etc. Compensation and Benefits : Pay based on experience, medical, dental, 401k, vacation available also.
