Sales and Business Development Job Opening in Indianapolis, Indiana - Position Summary: Responsible for developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintaining them over time to benefit TP Mechanical Contractors.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Responsible for establishing relationships with new and existing clients. Create project work plans to improve, monitor and track client relationships. Contact and schedule meeting with prospective clients.
Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.
Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors? products, prices and sales.
Ability to negotiate contracts, produces agreements, present materials and close sales. Produce and distribute marketing materials. Develop client presentations.
Ability to provide job estimates and assist with RFPs and RFQs.
Produce weekly updates on project opportunities and progress.
Develop sales and marketing plan locally and support regional goals and expectations.
Prepares and participates in MSG meetings.
Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences.

Job Skills
Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services which includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems.
Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services including customer needs analysis, meeting quality standards for service, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, the financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community.
Education:
Bachelor?s degree in Sales or similar program preferred
At least three years of related business experience in sales and marketing required.
Excellent problem solving, customer service and skills; proficiency with PCs, flexibility and the ability to work effectively with all levels of staff
Physical Requirements:
Employee is frequently required to sit.
Employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, tools or controls, reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Special Requirements:
Must have a valid driver?s license and safe driving record in accordance with company vehicle policy.
