Sales Representative Job Opening in Elkhart, Indiana - International Thermal Research (ITR) was founded in 1984 to provide world-class research and development in the field of diesel-fired burner systems. Since then, ITR has obtained over 40 patents in the field. ITR?s products include the OASIS Hydronic Heating System for the RV market; the HURRICANE Hydronic Heating System for the marine market; the PIONEER line of portable non-powered heaters for mining camps, tents and temporary structures; the SPACE HEATER SMALL, the SPACE HEATER ARCTIC, the BARRACKS HEATER, and the MODERN BURNER UNIT, which are all mainstays of the U.S. Army and are used worldwide. International Thermal Research has also been active in designing custom heating systems for use in diverse applications such as mobile hospitals, off-the-grid structures, cleaning applications, and extreme weather transportation.
ITR products are designed, tested and manufactured in-house in Richmond, British Columbia, with a US distribution, service and marketing base in Vancouver, Washington, and with over 160 supporting distributors, dealerships and service centers throughout North America and the United Kingdom.
General Summary:
ITR's sales representatives develop strong relationships with OEM's, Dealers and service centers to understand their business, introduce them to ITR's premier products and support their ongoing needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for increasing sales of ITR products within the RV industry
Develop new prospects and interact with existing customers and service centers to sell new products
Develop and implement a sales business plan and marketing campaign for selling ITR products in the RV industry
Coordinate and conduct meetings and product training sessions with a variety of audiences to build product demand
Input all call and sales activity into a shared database with main office, and use this information to target high opportunities daily.
Job Specifications:
Sales experience in the RV industry is required
Strong oral and written communication skills are required
Capable of working independently
Work from home, with trips to the main office and US subsidiary office.
Frequent travel is required, but will mostly be within and around Elkhart, Indiana.
This can be a full-time, part-time, and/or commission based job, depending on qualifications. Further discussion about the structure for this job will be had with the appropriate candidates.
