PCA (Personal Care Attendant) Job Opening in Rolla, Missouri - Premier Home Health Care is in search of an experienced and compassionate Caregiver or CNA who understands the magnitude of meeting the needs of clients while helping them maintain a high quality of life. We are looking for a committed individual who has impeccable communication skills and is able to problem solve on the spot. Our Caregivers have a reputation for being cheerful and receptive as they administer care to our clients, and we are seeking someone who would be a great fit with our team.
*****The current opening is for an in-home caregiver or CNA. Set schedule. One other client available in Cuba, MO as well.*****
The Caregiver or CNA will provide companionship to elderly and/or disabled individuals in their home or in a facility; while also assisting with personal care (bathing/hygiene, grooming, toileting, mobility), homemaker chores (meals, dishes, cleaning, laundry, shopping/errands, essential correspondence), and The caregiver maintains accurate daily records to be submitted weekly to receive a pay check. The caregiver must have reliable transportation to and from work, which includes functionality, fuel and valid insurance whenever applicable. All employees will adhere to state guidelines and regulations, company policies and procedures, and will provide the office with an updated availability schedule monthly.
Caregiver or CNA Responsibilities
Assist clients with personal care, including dressing/grooming, bathing/hygiene, non-diabetic nail care, meals, homemaker chores, shopping/errands and companionship
Maintain open communication between families and healthcare professionals regarding client?s medical and emotional condition
Document and report any changes in client?s health status
Maintain daily records of time and tasks completed
Ensure highest client safety and well-being
Travel to/from client?s home while maintaining safe driving habits
Maintain neat, professional appearance and attitude
Caregiver or CNA Qualifications
Ability to pass background screening (or obtain necessary clearance/waiver)
Experience caring for elderly or disabled adults or children
Valid CNA certification in Missouri (if applicable)
Exceptional written and oral communication skills
Reliable transportation to/from work sites
Valid and current vehicle insurance on transportation
