Jr. Mainframe Developer Job Opening in Reading, Pennsylvania - Qualified candidates will contribute to the program as a successful software developer, involving COBOL, CICS, and JCL development. This position will utilize Systems engineering, analysis, software development, testing, and system deployment skills to support the software development lifecycle of a complex enterprise systems integration project. Will work closely with the Internal SAO IT resource on activities such as technical support, defect management, software development / modification / enhancement, system integration, and maintenance/process improvement activities.

Primary Job Skills:
IBM mainframe COBOL/CICS developer
Manufacturing background, especially Metals Industry [Good to have]
Application Integration experience with mainframe applications using XML, MQ Series and/or Biztalk
Code, test, debug and document programs
Develop, implement and maintain computer applications
May assist Programmer/Analyst on more complex projects
Prepare programming specifications and documentation
Skills, Licenses, Knowledge, Education and Training Requirements:
Bachelors Degree or equivalent required
0-3 years experience
Understand logic and coding
Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
Proven ability to remain flexible in a changing environment
Knowledge of Application Program Language
Attendance and schedule adherence are requirements of this position
May require additional project-specific training
