Software Developer - Real Estate Title and Settlement Co. Job Opening in Sterling, Virginia - Our privately-owned company, headquartered in Sterling, has an immediate opening for a SOFTWARE DEVELOPER who will be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining customer, client and internal user applications; designing and maintaining internal SQL reports; and managing the internal user help-desk.
Requirements:
Software Developer with knowledge in any of the following: SQL Server, Visual Studios, Fiddler, ASP, , C#, Web API, XML, JSON, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS
Experience with back-end development and relational databases (Postgres, MySQL, etc.)
Experience with APIs
Experience with Microsoft Access and Excel Qualifications:
6-8 years technical experience
Must be a good communicator, liaising well with necessary parties
Demonstrate mastery in:
Systems Development Life Cycle
Database theory
Entity relationships
Database normalization transactional SQ
Ability to apply theory to practical applications
Data mining; interpreting and creating meaningful reports from raw data
Education: BA/BS Degree in Computer Science from an accredited college or university is preferred. May substitute 6 years of Java programming experience in place of the Degree.
