IT System Administrator Job Opening in Salt Lake City, Utah - This position will assist the Senior IT Administrator in managing and supporting the operations of an ecosystem of healthcare oriented companies. Support will primarily be provided to internal non-technical staff with some assistance to clients.
Good personal skills. Ability to convey technical matters in an understandable fashion to non-technical staff.
Applicant would be willing to travel out of state as needed, at the expense of the company.
Applicant would provide own transportation with mileage reimbursement. Headquarters out of Salt Lake City, with ability to travel within the state. Mostly along Wasatch front from Provo to Ogden, though offices are statewide.
Organizational abilities and the desire to complete jobs in a tidy and clean fashion.
Able to lift 50 Lbs. unassisted.
Qualifications
Ability to pass state & FBI Background checks
Understanding of TCP/IP networking: NAT, Firewalls, DHCP, DNS. Experience with Sonicwall devices is a plus.
Experience managing Microsoft Exchange 2010 or better.
Basic knowledge of windows domains including knowledge of joining workstations and creating and managing users in active directory.
Ability to diagnose software problems related to the Windows OS
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose hardware issues on desktop computers, notebooks, and servers.
A working knowledge of faxing systems. Ability to diagnose issues related to sending and receiving faxes.
Understanding of both analog and IP telephony.
Certified individuals are preferred. Please provide credentials for certifications.
