Heavy Equipment Mechanic Job Opening in chicago, Illinois - Heavy Equipment Mechanic Description Our client, a national railroad contractor, is hiring for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for their Northlake, IL facility. This position involves repairing diesel yard hostler trucks, cranes, and heavy forklifts. This is a fulltime permanent position with very competitive wage and excellent benefits. This is mostly a day position with some on call and weekends. Requirements Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 5 yrs experience working on Cranes, Forklifts and/or heavy construction equipment. Electrical and Hydraulic troubleshooting experience required and you must own your own set of tools. Candidates must have a good work history and references.
