Job Title: Shipping Clerk/Driver
Minimum Qualifications and Skills Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Current DOT physical/or ability to pass a DOT physical. Familar with DOT log books
Scope of Responsibility:
1) Inventory- Assist in loading and unloading incoming shipments, take inventory and stock new merchandise - Perform monthly inventory count of merchandise- Maintain inventory of packing materials
2) Packing- Double confirm order details for accuracy and generate packing lists- Pick, verify and pack small items to ship- Assess the appropriate shipping method and carrier- Generate shipping documents for domestic and international small shipments - Occasionally drive to post office to deposit packages
3) Driving to the trade show to deliver to local customer
