Senior Developer- Ruby on Rails Job Opening in Overland Park, Kansas - Convergenz is hiring a Software Engineer with Ruby on Rail experience writing code to meet user interface specifications. Responsibilities include: defining user needs, providing input to functional design, testing and troubleshooting. A Strong interest integrating emerging technologies and devices into application and solutions is required.
The developer will be designing, implementing, and testing APIs in the Ruby on Rails framework (Active Record), using Swagger for API documentation and unit test scaffolding. The client uses MySQL database for data storage and writes SQL directly in the Rails API Server for database interaction as required.
Required Experience:
Experience using Web Based Applications including Web Development experience.
Experience using RESTful Web Services
At least two years of experience using Ruby on Rails is required
ActiveRecord or Active Record experience is highly desired
Will leverage Scrum methodology so it?s necessary to collaborate with core team members daily who all sit on site.
