Position available: RN/LPN
Position overview: The RN Charge Nurse is responsible for the comprehensive nursing care of residents in the facility, and for the supervision and education of nursing staff who provide care to the residents. Has the ability to communicate effectively and advocate for resident centered/directed care to team members, families, physicians, allied health professionals and the at large community.
Position qualifications: The RN Charge Nurse must be a graduate from an accredited school, be currently licensed in Iowa without encumbrance, be responsible for maintaining professional licensure and CEU requirements. Preferably 1-2 years of previous nursing experience as a Charge Nurse in Long Term Care and/or a Skilled Nursing Facility. Ability to assess and implement interventions for resident care based on standards of nursing practice and principles of nursing care. Must possess current CPR certification.
Position schedule: PRN (On Call, fill in for empty shifts, Backup) for all shifts, 6am to 2pm, 2pm to 10pm and 10pm to 6am
