Denver Rescue Mission at the Harvest Farm is seeking a Full-Time Facility Assistant . The Facility Assistant?s (FA) paramount responsibility is to uphold the program rules helping to promote an environment conducive to resident growth. It is the duty of the FA to enforce the stated rules, not to create or interpret them. The FA provides oversight, accountability, guidance, and encouragement for residents during evening and weekend hours. Moreover the FA is responsible for Farm facilities and operations, volunteers, programs, and activities during these same hours. FA?s must be able to handle conflict professionally and respectfully and maintain composure, and Christ-like manner at all times even under stressful conditions while working as the only staff member on duty. The position will have some flexibility in hours. Must have a heart to serve the needy in a Christian environment.
Qualifications
Ability to work evenings and weekends.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to resolve conflict professionally and maintain composure under pressure.
Strong Christian ethic with ability to work with people of diverse cultural, educational, and religious backgrounds.
Basic knowledge of Windows software applications
