Non-Profit Association Coordinator Job Opening in Denver, Colorado - The Adept Group is seeking entry-level candidates for our organization to service our Business & Trade Practice. Associates in our business units play an integral role in providing excellent customer service to the nonprofit volunteers and members from our client organizations. This role requires strong multitasking abilities, effective written and verbal communication skills, as well as a team-oriented mentality.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Maintain first-rate customer service as the front-line contact to association client organizations and association members
Build and sustain strong member relations through attentive detail in handling member requests and volunteer interaction
Provide administrative and project support to the client and staff team, including database maintenance, batch processing, and reporting
Serve as meeting staff person, assisting client and staff team with all facets of meeting programming
Provide membership services support by managing the organization's data and generating reports as needed
Write and produce content for meeting programs and other electronic communications
Maintain and update areas of the association Web site with current information, benefits, member programs, etc.
Assist with the preparation of conferences, board meetings and seminars
Collaborate with various ADEPT GROUP service units including Marketing & Communications, Financial Management & Accounting, IT, and Convention and Trade Show Services to provide the best client service possible
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Computer experience with a variety of software programs?preferred experience in Mac OS environment
Demonstrated customer service experience/focus
Previous experience managing website content
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in time management and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Database management experience a plus
Education & Work Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree from a four year accredited college/university
Practical agency or non-profit experience a plus
