Job Summary:
Providing various product information to meet the distributors and customer needs on new and existing accounts. Quoting, selling products and performing service functions for targeted markets, programs and product sales. Growing consumables sales and overall product portfolio with a specific emphasis on margins, process efficiency, and customer retention. Observing, assessing, and reacting to new consumables trends and market requirements. Serving as a cross-trained addition to the sales team.
Job
Leveraging existing and future capital equipment customer accounts to significantly grow consumables sales
Meeting annually established sales volume quotas
Serves as a subject matter expert and point of contact for all consumable sales inquiries and clinical application of products
Works closely with purchasing to continually assess consumables suppliers and maintain competitive pricing
Efficiently responds to any online, telephone and/or fax sales queries
Build sustainable customer relationships of trust through open and interactive communication with customers*
Liaison between departments and the customer to provide service most suitable to the client?s needs, cost and time restraints*
Work closely with the outside sales team to meet customer product and shipment needs
Create, develop, and retention of business relationships with our customers
Identify and assess customer?s needs to achieve customer satisfaction
Prepares and follows up on customer quotes sales and negotiating terms
Prepares and calculates product sales, invoicing and shipping records
Assists customers and arrange payment terms in accordance with established guidelines
Creates and maintains customer account files
Process quotes and orders with accuracy and timeliness
Identifying services and pricing that meet customer needs to make business objectives
Maximizing sales opportunities on each and every order*
Provide accurate, valid and complete information to IDI distributors and customers*
Respond to customer issues and give after sales support
Inform customers of unforeseen delays and/or problems
Provide telephone and email support to IDI distributors including but not limited to requests for price quotations, product demos and product literature
Generate replacement part quotes for distributors and customers
Gathering information to make solid independent decisions
Produce reports on sales within the department and outline any developed strategies to improve
Works closely with logistics to source and procure carrier services to ensure timely pick-up and delivery of customer product
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently
Dependable with proficient organization skills and attention to detail while multi-tasking
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Education/Training:
Experience within the clinical field; Nursing, technician, sales
Associates Degree, BA or clinically relevant certificate
3 years of customer service and/or sales experience
