Intake Coordinator Job Opening in Lake Forest, California - DME, Custom Mobility, and Complex Rehab Equipment Service (Lake Forest, CA)
Must be experienced in an office setting with strong organizational skills.
What you'll be doing:
- Request medical documentation from physicians in order to bill Medicare, Medicaid and/or Commercial insurance companies for the procurement of Custom Rehab equipment
- Data entry and Insurance eligibility.
- Reach out to healthcare providers and customers through phone or fax to resolve issues with documents that do not meet criteria or are missing information
- Receive incoming phone calls from Insurance Companies, healthcare providers, or customers to answer questions or provide guidance
- Manage, scan and/or store documents efficiently to insure that any audits meet compliance expectations.
- Request and follow up on authorizations from carriers
- Maintain a high level of customer and corporate satisfaction
- Enter detailed notes in patient database regarding communication with healthcare providers, customers or carriers and steps taken in documentation process
- Work closely with other departments to ensure highest level of customer service and compliance with regulatory guidelines
Requirements for this position:

- Superior written and oral communication skills
- Strong Computer skills
- Attention to detail a must!
- Ability to multi-task
- Enjoy working in a high volume, fast paced environment
