Home Health/Hospice Manager Job Opening in Lewistown, Montana - BestNest Management is seeking to fill a Full Time/Permanent Placement Home Health/Hospice Manager Open Position for Lewistown, Montana.
Shifts: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm

Minimum Guaranteed Hours: 40
Home Health/ Hospice Manager: Selects, trains/orients and assigns department staff (either directly or through subordinate supervisor). Develops standards of performance, evaluates performance, and initiates or makes recommendations for personnel actions.
Develops department goals and objectives, and establishes and implements policies and procedures for department operation.
Develops and recommends department operating budget and ensures that department operates within budget.
Directs the preparation and maintenance of department report. Prepares periodic reports for top management, as required.
Develops home health and hospice philosophy, priorities, program policies, and procedures as well as the overall philosophy and plans for agency service consistent with local needs, program plans, and the goals and philosophy of the hospital.
Maintains agency/program compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and corrects any deficiencies.
Projects the number, type, and use of personnel for current and future needs for the agency.
Organizes and allocates nursing and support staff to carry out the activities necessary to accomplish the nursing service and program objectives.
Collaborates with and provides consultation to other agencies and professional groups in identifying and meeting health and social needs of communities and stimulates development of additional needed resources.
Collaborates and provides consultation to educational institutions for the purpose of integrating home health and hospice services and public health activities and develops strategies for the best learning opportunities for students.
Assists with care and maintenance of department equipment and supplies.
