Job Description:
The Accounts Receivable and Payable Specialist ensures that all business transactions associated with accounts receivable and accounts payable functions are recorded accurately. This position is responsible for developing procedures to ensure timely and accurate processing of billings. The Accounts Receivable and Payable Specialist coordinates efforts with the Controller and Payroll Specialist to maximize efficiency and compliance.
Minimum Job Requirements
Is competent in basic mathematics skills, as generally acquired through the completion of high school or a GED program.
Has completed post-secondary accounting or business coursework, or has at least two years of related work experience.
Is proficient in the numerical entry of data on a computer system.
Has the ability to speak, write, and comprehend the English language.
Possesses a valid driver?s license and satisfactory motor vehicle record
Is able to provide proof of employment eligibility and proof of being free from tuberculosis upon hire.
Successfully passes a State of Minnesota background check before working unsupervised.
* Experience with Microsoft Excel and/or Quick Books Preferred.
