Accounting Technician Job Opening in West Des Moines, Iowa - HomeServices of Iowa is seeking a detail-oriented and customer service focused individual to join the Accounting team as an Accounting Technician in our West Des Moines corporate office!

The Accounting Technician provides essential support to the company by performing a wide range of accounting and recruitment duties.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Input sales offers into accounting system
Reconcile accounts and bank statements
Process commission, agent charges, and post close maintenance information
Assist with accounts payable and receivable processing
Provide backup for the transaction coordination process
Coordinate agent recruitment process
Schedule interviews for candidates with sales managers
Track candidates through pre-licensing process
Maintain recruiting reports
Perform other general accounting duties as assigned
Performance Requirements and Qualifications:
Minimum Two Year Accounting Degree
Basic accounting experience
Analytical and detail oriented
Accounting systems knowledge
Strong customer service skills
Real Estate background is a plus
