Sales Manager Job Opening in Phoenix, Arizona - INTERSAN is a premier producer of commercial and institutional restroom solutions worldwide, our products are focused on functionality and ergonomics. We support these with rigorous engineering methods coupled with an international customer support network.
As Sales Manager, you?ll work out of our office based in Phoenix, Arizona, as well as support sales efforts throughout the US, targeting Architects, Interior Designers, Engineers, and Wholesale Distributors in the commercial, healthcare and institutional construction industries, as well as supporting several existing customers. Reporting to the General Manager you'll drive the sales of our quality brand, focusing on the wholesale channel including architects and interior design, healthcare, government and education and national accounts throughout the US and Canada. Taking ownership of an existing book of business, it will be your mission to retain and grow your established accounts as well as develop and close new business.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Directing channel sales and representative point of contact
National accounts development
Develop channel sales strategies focused on new opportunities to gain share while keeping a keen focus on existing business.
Enhance and execute market specific strategies in order to expand the depth and breadth of offerings within key accounts.
Presentations with a customer-specific focus that inspires action and commitment.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PROFILE
5 years of successful sales experience, ideally in the construction or manufacturing industry. Plumbing experience, a plus.
2 - 5 years of managing a successful sales team a plus.
A bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proven experience calling on distributors, builders, engineers, showrooms, architects or similar.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Strong business acumen with the abillity to use a consultative sales approach.
A customer-centric orientation and excellent relationship building skills.
Superb interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
A positive, energetic, and exudes a positive attitude.
Initiative, drive, and out-of-the box thinking. Must be very SELF-DRIVEN.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience with a wholesale distribution sales model.
Knowledge of sanitary plumbing products is a plus.
Experience and proficiency with and Office 365.
In addition to these skills, you must be willing and able to travel at least 20% of the time.
WORK ENVIRONMENT You will operate out of corporate office and spend the majority of your week in the office with some time out in the field. Compensation commensurate with experience and past success growing sales. Lucrative Bonus/Incentive Plan, car allowance, lap-top, cell phone and expense account provided.
