Medical Receptionist Job Opening in Scottsdale, Arizona - We are a multi-location primary care group and are looking for a motivated and dedicated Full Time Front Office Receptionist. We are currently recruiting for several of our locations. Other duties may include processing electronic faxes, uploading scanned documents, managing medical records requests, etc. Medical office experience preferred.
Position is eligible for Health, Dental, Vision and 401k benefits.

Responsibilities
Although this position is primarily responsible for answering phones, the following tasks will also be cross-trained.
Creates sign-in labels and monitors patient sign-in compliance.
Verifies insurance card, driver?s license and picture are in system and correct.
Verifies patient address, phone number and PCP are accurate.
Checks in patients and collects co-pays if appropriate.
Removes sign-in label & retains.
Verifies eligibility if billing company unable to do so automatically.
Prints payment journal and reconciles payments at end of day.
Scans documents and imports to patient charts.
Prepares new patient document packets.
Processes credit card payments received in mail.
Schedules office lunches with marketing reps.
Coordinates office guests, ie marketing reps.
Retrieves phone messages and triages.
Registers patients for patient portal.
Cross-trained on check-out tasks.
Qualifications
High School Graduate
Preferred experience working in a healthcare office
Previous experience working with Electronic Health Records preferred
