A respected, Dallas healthcare facility seeks to add a highly motivated leader for its Finance Function. The preferred candidate will possess leadership skills, financial proficiency in GAAP, internal control expertise, solid communication skills and a premier Team First attitude. The Company seeks a business partner, not just an accounting expert.
Position Summary: Directs the financial affairs of the organization and prepares financial analysis of the Company?s operations, including monthly consolidating financial package with appropriate supporting schedules, monthly budget-to-actual comparisons and ad hoc reporting that brings value to the Company.
Responsible for the Company?s financial policies and procedures, its accounting practices, interaction with financial institutions, the maintenance of fiscal records and the preparation of financial reports.
Responsible to transparently communicate with operational leaders to improve the overall Company performance.
Supervises a Controller and a General Accounting Team, Disbursement Cycle, and Inventory Department.
Responsibilities:
Directs and manages the organization?s accounting principles, practices and procedures.
Appraises operating results in terms of costs, budgets, trends and increased profit opportunities
Lead contact for banking and external financial relationships
Primary responsibility for annual audits
Responsible to properly calculate and assess debt covenant compliance
Responsible for monitoring cash flows, forecasts and owner distributions
Serves as liaison with external consultants for all tax related matters
Responsible for financial statement preparation
Pre-requisites: BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance or a related major. CPA certification preferred. 7 years progressive experience in financial management. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Compensation: $95,000 to $105,000 with a full benefits package.
