Ellinger & Mumme, P.C. is a local accounting firm located in Uvalde, Texas. We serve small to mid-sized clients. We are open five days a week from 8 to 5 outside of tax season. We operate in a relaxed, low paced atmosphere. The firm's primary focus is income taxation. No travel is required. Must be willing to relocate to Uvalde, Tx.
Responsibilities of the applicant include preparing trial balances, bookkeeping, preparing individual, corporate, partnership, and tax exempt tax returns, and communicating with clients.
Required Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting from an accredited university.
Required Experience: Must have 5+ years experience preparing federal, state, corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns, and communicating with clients. Must be proficient with navigating various tax preparation software. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft office (Excel/Word) QuickBooks, Lacerte Tax Software. Must be knowledgeable in Federal income tax laws.
Licensed CPA or CPA candidate is preferred.
