Accounting Manager Job Opening in Vandalia, Ohio - Our manufacturing company that is part of a PE group has an immediate opening for an Accounting Manager for its Dayton, OH location.
This is a 150 employee contract manufacturer. It enjoys a strong level of support from its customers and a ?let?s get it done? attitude from its employees. We believe this to be a friendly and open work environment that is looking for an addition to its team.
Reporting to and working with Company management and the CFO, the Accounting Manager will:
Processing day-to-day accounting and general ledger activities;
Responsible for weekly cash and sales reporting as well as the month end close;
Work with the CFO to understand margin and cost drivers on the shop floor;
Manage Collections and Accounts Payable/Receivable;
Recommend and monitor internal controls;
Participate in the periodic budget and forecasting process;
Maintain monthly account reconciliations;
Analyze Standard Cost and BOM accuracy;
Maintain 401-K Plan records, contributions, payouts
Maintain HSA contributions/match
Other projects as requested.
Specific desired skills and personal attributes include:
ERP experience with a middle market manufacturing package is preferred.
Working knowledge of GAAP is required. A CPA is preferred. 5-10 years of relevant experience. Public accounting experience is a plus.
Basic understanding of Standard Cost and Manufacturing Accounting.
Ability to download data into Excel and present it in an orderly fashion; strong excel skills.
Self starter
