Job Summary

The Medical Affairs Manager for the US Consumer Healthcare organization will play an important role in the development and substantiation of medical and scientific claims for the US product portfolio. This position will report to the CHC US Medical lead and is based in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Role Specific Responsibilities

Understand key consumer needs and healthcare professional trends

Maintain currency with data and the external literature in the relevant therapeutic areas

Engage in ongoing close interactions with multiple functional areas in both the US and Global CHC organizations, including Regulatory Affairs and Pharmacovigilance

Develop the medical and scientific substantiation for desired claims for products in the relevant therapeutic areas

Review and approve promotional and non-promotional materials

Actively shape the local brand strategies & approaches by working with cross-functional project teams

Work with stakeholders to progress innovation projects in the relevant therapeutic areas

Collaborate with the Extended Global Category Medical Teams

Ensure delivery of medical commitments at a local level by clearly defining the desired outcome(s) from prioritized activities defined in medical strategies, and define operational milestones to deliver on these medical commitments

Perform medical evaluation of local Business Development opportunities in relevant therapeutic areas

Follow CHC Medical governance, ensuring that company/industry standards are maintained at all times

Qualifications

Education : Pharm D., M.S, M.A, or R.N.

Experience: At least 2 years of experience in the industry. Previous experience in a Consumer Healthcare organization is an advantage.

Professional Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to work in cross-functional teams.

Role Specific Competencies: Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Special Requirements: Position is based in Chattanooga, Tennessee at Sanofi CHC corporate office. Travel may be required.
