Financial Analyst Job Opening in Topeka, Kansas - Completes financial analysis and accounting functions as assigned by the CFO.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepares, reviews, and distributes monthly financial reports.
Tracks expenses and revenues vs. budget and reforecasts and analyzes fluctuations.
Prepares monthly consolidation and executive financial package.
Assists in the annual budget and reforecast process.
Evaluates profit and cost efficiencies in various areas of the organization as assigned.
Develops, maintains and distributes ad-hoc reports and financial models as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor?s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in reporting consolidation and financial analysis.
Accounting/GAAP knowledge.
Advanced Microsoft Office experience (emphasis on Excel and Access).
Should have previous experience demonstrating strong initiative in managing projects and budgets.
Must have skills to multi-task and prioritize.
Should possess a high degree of accuracy, organization and confidentiality.
Must be able to perform the essential position functions of the job with, or without reasonable accommodation.
