Leasing Agent Job Opening in Lenexa, Kansas - SCOPE AND PURPOSE
To be primarily responsible for telephone sales, showing apartments, and aiding the Property Manager in all phases of managing the apartment community.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Aid in marketing apartments
Show and demonstrate market ready units, maintaining a 40% closing ratio.
Take maintenance work orders, as needed.
Aid in any accounting and bookkeeping procedures necessary.
Prepare lease files.
Assist Management staff.
Follow LIHTC and HUD Housing rules and regulations, if applicable.
Assist in any other phases of property management as directed by Property Manager.
Perform follow up with 100% of qualified prospects within 24 hours via telephone and Thank You cards.
Maintain at least an 80% score on shops.
Walk model and tour route inspecting all market ready units on a daily basis.
Work with applicant files to complete approval or denial status.
Abide by all Fair Housing regulations.
