Senior Accountant Job Opening in Baton Rouge, Louisiana - Job Overview:
Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a Senior Accountant in Baton Rouge, LA. The Senior Accountant will provide support for operational units and sister companies.
Key :
Perform month end close functions including journal entries, banking and GL account reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, financial statement preparation and analysis.
Assist in quarter end and yearend financial and SOX audits.
Prepare customer invoices in accordance with contract specifications.
Perform cash management functions.
Maintain and reconcile fixed asset schedules.
Process depreciation.
Special projects.
Supports operational units and sister companies.
Maintains contractor licenses in various states.
Prepare and file reports for various regulatory agencies.
Basic Qualifications:
5-10 yeas of construction accounting experience with increasing responsibility across finance and project accounting functions.
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Management preferred.
Heavy GL (general ledger) experience
Must possess a solid communication, technology, organizational and analytical skills.
Excel proficiency a must.
