The MWCP Controller will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of MWCP. Some of the intended responsibilities include (but are not limited to) maximizing returns on financial assets by establishing financial policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems. This person will work under the supervision of the VP of Operations. Must have experience in cost accounting and manufacturing businesses, preferably food manufacturing.
MWCP Controller Job Description
The MWCP Controller will be accountable for the following:
Preparing budgets by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data; recommending plans.
Managing practices and procedures with cost accounting principals
Achieving budget objectives by scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
Bidding new projects
Providing status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data.
Preparing special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; filing financial reports; advising management on needed actions.
Protecting operations by keeping financial information and plans confidential.
Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
