Senior Accountant Job Opening in Lakeville, Minnesota - A small, family owned south of the river CPA firm had a wonderful Senior Accountant of over ten years leave the company, and they are looking to backfill her spot with an energetic personality who shares both a passion for client interfacing, and preparing property, partnership, and corporate tax returns.
This position will not only offer a flexible and casual atmosphere, but the opportunity to buy the firm in the next 10 years!
Duties will include:
Preparing of individual, property tax, partnership and corporate tax returns
Meet with clients on a regular basis providing excellent customer service
Preparation and review of payrolls, payroll tax returns, and sales tax returns
Preparing financial statements (tax basis)
Assisting clientele with bookkeeping, reconciliations, and journal entry adjustment
Special projects as needed
Required:
A Bachelor?s degree in Accounting and Finance
3 or more years of experience in recent public accounting experience
Ability to build client relationships
Proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Office Suite
Strong knowledge of accounting principles CPA or EA certification
