We are seeking a Sr LAMP Software Test Engineer to join our Development organization to drive the test automation of our software engineering team. The Sr LAMP Test Software Engineer will work with internal stakeholders and developers in the platform ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
Produce high quality code resulting from knowledge of automated testing technologies and frameworks
Build, Extend, and Maintain a full end ?to-end automation testing framework
Create solid test plans, templates, and strategies for both automation and manual testing
Setup/deploy changes for specific stories and perform end-to-end testing ? involving the full tear-down and re-configuring of all required components
Assist in troubleshooting deployment-level issues involving both client and back-end services
Offer code-level feedback on bugs found during testing
Develop integration test cases based on the story content (technical stories and UI-involved stories)
Collaborate with developers and build out acceptance criteria for stories
Produce detailed documentation outlining the testing activity
Demonstrating a strong work ethic, a ?can do? attitude and be highly productive
Learning new technologies and develop tools to remain abreast of current testing and development technologies
Taking on what?s needed to help the team and the company meet objectives
Requirements:
Minimum 3-5 years of applicable experience with demonstrated competency, and a minimum of 1 year of experience developing in an Agile environment is required.
Minimum of 3 years of working experience with automation frameworks and harnesses
Minimum of 3-5 years? using the following tools and technologies: Linux Server, Apache, MySQL, PHP and Source Code Versioning tools such as SVN, GIT or comparable)
Must be able to travel 25-30%
BS in Computer Science or Engineering or relative experience.
3+ years of creating test automation experience
5+ years of active development and testing of software
Strong, object-oriented design and coding skills
