Our Company utilizes a software platform developed and maintained in-house. It controls most aspects of our business and has multiple integrations with other systems. Our company also creates customized software solutions for our own use and our clients use to meet the needs of each project. We are currently in search of an experienced Software Developer to create and maintain software, in-house and integrated systems. The successful candidate will also help to develop critical products for our clients, and offer excellent technical support. Essential Duties and Responsibilities of the position:
Develop and implement new software programs
Maintain and improve the performance of existing software
Design and update SQL Databases
Develop detailed, technical documentation of proprietary software
Test and maintain software products to ensure strong functionality and optimization
Clearly and regularly communicate with management and technical support colleagues
Recommend improvements to existing software programs as necessary
Skills / Knowledge / Experience / Education needed to successfully perform job:
Bachelor?s Degree in Computer Science required
3+ years? experience in SQL database, web and software development
Demonstrated knowledge of various technologies, such as C#, VB, ASP, SQL, JSON, XML, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
Ability to work independently and multi-task effectively
Demonstrated understanding of projects from the perspective of both client and business
Flexible and willing to accept a change in priorities as necessary
Strong attention to detail
