Description: Title: Ultrasound Technologist FTE: Part Time ? 8 hours/week Shift: Every other Weekend - Saturday, Sunday Location: Seattle Specialty: Reproductive Endocrinology General Duties include, but are not limited to: - Performing follicular, OB/GYN ultrasounds using ultrasound equipment for subsequent evaluation by the physician. - Prepare patient for ultrasound. - Adjust equipment using visual observations, knowledge of cross section anatomy, knowledge of physics, judgment as to size of patient, procedure to be done and type of scan performed. - View screen and make dial adjustments for clarity, correctness of size and focus until proper image appears. - Document information in electronic medical record system. - Discuss results with multidisciplinary team. An ideal candidate will have 2 years experience performing gynecological scans; actively registered with ARDMS. We require excellent patient skills and bed side manner.
